Can you assist our in-house staff or do we need to outsource our departments entire transcription load?
Many of our clients are full service where we provide transcription for all dictation in specific departments and/or facilities. These clients generally have their physicians dictate directly to our advanced digital dictation system located in our Cleveland, Ohio data center and they utilize our iTS electronic signature, online access, and distribution system. Other clients utilize our committed assistance services where we supplement their transcription on a regular basis. For example, we will assist a client by transcribing specific report types or we will transcribe a predetermined daily volume of transcription.

eMTS' Information Technology Group has vast experience building and managing HIS interfaces. We adhere to HL7 as a data format standard.
Data formats (upload &download)
- HL7 is standard and preferred
- Fixed-width or CSV ASCII formats can be accommodated
Data Communications
- Real-time exchange with acknowledgment
- Batch data exchanges
A few of the third party Systems that we have interfaced with:
- MediTech
- Cerner
- HBOC
- SMS
- SoftMed ChartScript
- Dictaphone Text
We find that nearly every interface project involves some custom work and the client's Information Systems (IS) professionals are both involved and affected by such interfaces. It is critical to the timely success of any system interface project that the client IS staff is dedicated to the project as key project team members. In cases where IS needs to accommodate the interface, IS third-party vendors may need to become involved to actuate changes. We rely on our clients to initiate and manage their vendor's involvement.
