SSM DePaul Health Center announces the implementation of the eMTS electronic signature program. SSM DePaul Health Center is located in St. Louis, Missouri and is a full-service Catholic hospital and a member of SSM Health Care-St. Louis. The hospital is licensed for 450 beds, has 715 physicians on staff and more than 2,000 employees; and is a full service client of eMTS.
According to Sheryl Maurer, Director of Health Information Management, “Our physicians are very happy and it has been a seamless transition for them. We have received a number of compliments from physicians regarding how simple the e-sign program is to use and how much more efficient it has made the documentation process.”
Orlando Regional Healthcare has renewed its transcription contract with eMTS for an additional three years. Orlando Regional Healthcare is one of Florida's most comprehensive private, not-for-profit healthcare networks and is a healthcare leader for two million Central Florida residents and 6,000 international visitors annually. The 1,500 bed system includes such hospitals as Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women & Children, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando, and Orlando Regional Medical Center. eMTS transcribes more than 75,000 reports annually for their facilities.
Clarian Health and eMTS have announced the signing of a multi-year transcription agreement. eMTS will be transcribing 80,000+ HIM reports annually. Located in the Indianapolis area, Clarian Health includes Methodist Hospital, Indiana University and Riley Hospitals.
